How Building Works

The building system allows players to construct and own structures in the game world.

Pylons

Pylons are designated building sites placed by designers. Each pylon has a type and size that determines what can be built there.

Structures

Structures are the building types players can construct. They have build costs, time requirements, and can be part of upgrade paths (e.g., cottage → house → manor).

Deeds

When construction completes, players receive a deed proving ownership. Deeds track the pylon location, structure type, and build history.

Player Workflow
  1. Player uses /look to see pylons in an area
  2. Player uses /examine <pylon> to inspect a building site
  3. Player uses /build <structure> to start construction
  4. Construction timer runs (real-time minutes)
  5. When complete, player receives a deed
  6. Player can /upgrade to higher tiers
  7. Player can /abandon to release the pylon
